Getting Started

How do I create an account?

To create an account on ListingPro:

  1. Click the "Get Started" or "Sign Up" button in the header
  2. Enter your name, email address, and password
  3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  4. Complete your profile with additional information

How do I search for businesses?

Use the search bar on the homepage to enter what you're looking for and where. You can browse by categories, filter results by rating, distance, and other criteria, or view all services in your area.

Is ListingPro free to use?

Yes! Browsing listings and reading reviews is completely free. Business owners can list their business for free with basic features, with optional paid upgrades for enhanced visibility and features.

For Businesses

How do I list my business?

To add your business to ListingPro:

  1. Sign up or log in to your account
  2. Click "List Your Business" in the navigation
  3. Fill in your business information, including name, category, location, and hours
  4. Add photos and a detailed description
  5. Submit for review (usually approved within 24-48 hours)

How do I claim an existing listing?

If your business is already listed by someone else, you can claim it by finding the listing and clicking "Claim This Business". You'll need to verify ownership through documentation, phone, or email.

How do I update my business information?

Log in to your account, go to your business dashboard, and click "Edit Listing". You can update hours, contact info, photos, and all other details at any time.

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes! Business owners can respond to reviews on their listing. This helps build trust and shows you care about customer feedback. Responses must be professional and constructive.

What is verification and how do I get verified?

A verified badge shows users your business is authentic. To get verified, submit verification documents (business license, utility bill, etc.) through your business dashboard. Verification is free and usually completed within 3-5 business days.

Reviews & Ratings

How do I write a review?

To write a review:

  1. Find the business you want to review
  2. Click "Write a Review" on their listing page
  3. Select a star rating (1-5 stars)
  4. Write your review with details about your experience
  5. Optionally add photos
  6. Submit your review

What are the review guidelines?

Reviews must:

  • Be based on your personal experience
  • Be honest, fair, and constructive
  • Not contain profanity, hate speech, or personal attacks
  • Not be written for compensation without disclosure
  • Not be posted for businesses you own or work for

Can I edit or delete my review?

Yes, you can edit or delete your reviews at any time. Go to your profile, find the review under "My Reviews", and select edit or delete.

How do I report a fake or inappropriate review?

Click the three-dot menu on any review and select "Report". Choose the reason for reporting (fake, spam, inappropriate, etc.) and provide details. Our team will investigate within 24-48 hours.

Account Settings

How do I change my password?

Go to Account Settings > Security > Change Password. Enter your current password and your new password twice, then click Save.

How do I change my email address?

Go to Account Settings > Profile > Email Address. Enter your new email and verify it by clicking the confirmation link sent to the new address.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Privacy & Data
  2. Scroll to "Delete Account"
  3. Read the information about what will be deleted
  4. Confirm deletion by entering your password

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your reviews will be anonymized but remain on the platform.

How do I manage notification preferences?

Go to Account Settings > Notifications to control which emails and push notifications you receive. You can opt out of marketing emails while keeping important account notifications.

Payments & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), debit cards, and PayPal. All payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually). You'll receive an email reminder before renewal. You can cancel anytime before the next billing date.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Account Settings > Billing > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

What is your refund policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. For other purchases, refunds are handled case-by-case. Contact support for assistance.

How do I update my payment method?

Go to Account Settings > Billing > Payment Methods. You can add, remove, or set a default payment method.

Safety & Privacy

How is my data protected?

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We comply with GDPR and other privacy regulations. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

What data do you collect?

We collect information you provide (name, email, reviews), automatically collected data (usage, device info), and data from third parties (social media, if you connect accounts). We never sell your personal data.

How do I exercise my privacy rights (GDPR)?

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Export your data (portability)
  • Object to processing
  • Restrict processing
